The Honey Sliders Play Neil Young's

Harvest

The Honey Sliders are a group of Brisbane musicians who whilst being in many other bands indvidually formed their own band in 2013 to pay tribute to the music that they love.

This year it was Neil Young's turn to get the "honey" treatment and his album Harvest

Playing this legenadry album in full with a little commentary throughout was a unique experience with the band on fire and the dinging from Danny Widdicombe and his partner Dana Gehrman along with her harmonica playing brought this album to life in front of our eyes.

After a short intermission at the end of Harvest the band came back out for a Neil Young career spanning set of hits finishing with Cortez The Killer.

It was an amazing night of music and really a celebration of one of the greatest musicians to have lived, Neil Young.

There was a feeling this show could have continued ona lot longer if not for the venues 10pm curfew.

The Honey Sliders are working on their next show 1969...what a year of music that they hope to bring to Cairns next year to Tanks.
